I came across Danique Hosmar's run club online and noticed it didn't have a website yet. So I tried my luck and reached out, and this website was the result! This shows that testing your luck and approaching someone for a website is always a good option, instead of waiting for the work to always come to you.
The design ended up really playful, which felt right for the brand for the run club. It was also one of my first real deep-dives into GSAP for animation, and the project taught me a lot about building sites where motion is a core part of the experience rather than just something you do in the end.
The trickiest piece was the reel-style switching video in the hero section, getting the timing and transitions to feel smooth took some wrestling, but pulling it off was one of those rewarding moments that makes the frustration worth it. A project I definitely learned a lot from and still love today.
